Delete Account and Data – Zielfit App

Your Right to Data Deletion

As a user of our Zielfit Fitness App, you have the right to delete your account and all associated data completely at any time. We respect your privacy and make deletion as simple as possible.

Immediate Deletion in the App (Recommended)

The fastest way:
  1. Open the Zielfit App
  1. Go to „Profile“
  1. Scroll down to „Delete Account“
  1. Confirm the deletion twice
  1. Your data will be deleted immediately

Request Deletion via Email

If you no longer have the app installed or encounter problems:
Send email to: infozielfit@gmail.com
Subject: „Request Account Deletion“
Required Information:
  • Your registered email address
  • Full name (optional)
  • Reason for deletion (optional)
Processing Time: Maximum 30 days (usually within 48 hours)

This Data Will Be Deleted

When deleting your account, all your data will be permanently removed:

Personal Data:

  • Email address and username
  • Profile picture
  • Gender, age, height
  • Weight and target weight
  • Activity level and location

Fitness and Health Data:

  • All workout recordings
  • Training entries and exercises
  • Step counter data and activity history
  • Weight history and measurements
  • Calorie consumption and energy calculations

Nutrition Data:

  • All meals and food entries
  • Calorie goals and macronutrient goals
  • Barcode scan history
  • Individual nutrition settings

App Data:

  • Premium subscription status
  • App settings and preferences
  • Synchronized cloud data
  • Local device data

Important Notes

Irreversibility:

  • The deletion is final and cannot be undone
  • All your progress and data will be permanently lost
  • Recovery is technically impossible

Immediate Effect:

  • After confirmation, your data will be deleted immediately
  • You can no longer log into the app
  • All premium functions end with deletion

Legal Retention:

  • Tax-relevant data (invoices) are retained according to legal requirements for a maximum of 10 years
  • These do not contain personal fitness or health data

Data Protection and Security

Secure Deletion:

  • Data is removed from all servers (Supabase, Google Cloud)
  • Backups are cleaned within 30 days
  • Encrypted transmission of all deletion commands

Confirmation:

  • You will receive a confirmation email after successful deletion
  • For email requests: Response within 48 hours
  • Complete deletion guaranteed within 30 days

Alternative: Selective Data Deletion

You don’t have to delete your entire account. In the app, you can also remove individual data:
  • Delete profile picture (Profile → Picture → Delete)
  • Delete weight entries (Individual or in ranges)
  • Delete training entries (Specific workouts)
  • Delete meals (Individual entries or time periods)
